Information/ Knight Hall

Knight Hall is a multipurpose parish and school center that provides many different options for meeting space or special events. The list below gives details on each area and the number of people each area can serve.

Auditorium: 100 people, podium, screen, wireless microphone

Great Hall: 200 people, 20 tables and 200 chairs, podium and microphone

Conference Room – 20 people, board room setting

Kitchen – full service professional kitchen adjacent to the Great Hall

Coffee bar – Coffee pot and coffee service items, hall area adjacent accommodates          approximately 50 people

General Guidelines for Use of Facilities

Reservations must be submitted through the webpage online

The contact person is designated as the “responsible” party when using Knight Hall. He/she must then:

Obtain and sign for the keys from the Parish Office. When the vent is over, the keys are to be returned to the Parish office promptly. If the office is not open, place the keys in an envelope, with your name on it, and drop it into the box on the Parish Office door.

Be responsible for restoring the meeting rooms to their original order.

Food or drinks are not allowed in the Conference Room and Auditorium.

Return all equipment to designated areas.

Ensure that the lights are turned off.

Lock and secure the building when not in use and at the end of the event.

The responsible person of all groups will be responsible for the conduct of their members and for the enforcement of the policies and procedures.

Groups will occupy only the rooms specified on the Knight Hall Request form.

Nothing is to be moved from one room to another without the permission of the Parish Administrator.

The responsible party will be responsible for any damage to the property and/or the contents of the buildings.

Smoking is not permitted in any of the buildings at any time.

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the premises.

The buildings will not be used for wedding receptions.

Scotch tape, nails or tacks will not be allowed on the walls or woodwork.

At no times are any outside doors to be left propped open.

All groups are to be instructed to use only the specific rooms that have been reserved.

OPENING INSTRUCTIONS:

1)      If door is to be left unlocked for a length of time, please use the Allen Wrench, follow the instructions on the bar handle of door.

2)      Turn on the main hall lights if needed. The push switch is located to the right of the entrance doors.

3)      The lights in the Conference Room and the Chapel are set to come on automatically, simply adjust the brightness with the dimmer knobs. The Auditorium, Kitchen, Coffee Bar and Great Hall have pre-set programs or a maximum lighting button as needed.

4)      The temperatures for each room are preset; simply push the button which will activate the units to operate for 2 hours in all rooms except the Great Hall, which will operate for 4 hours. If your stay in the rooms is longer simply push the button again.

CLOSING INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Remove all garbage from rooms, place in trash cans in kitchen.

2)      If refreshments are brought in, please take all left overs with you. No food items should be left.

3)      If a spill should occur, you can find a mop and bucket in the kitchen

4) Turn off the lights.

5) Lock all doors used and reset the lock bar on any doors. The doors will lock automatically when you close them. Double check to make sure they are locked
